A message to our clients on COVID-19:

Please be sure to read all policies. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

I am so grateful that you have chosen me to get you closer to your skin care goals or for any other beauty needs you are seeking. I hold myself to high standards of cleanliness, disinfection and sanitation practices, as well as top of the line services. I remain committed and passionate about providing excellent customer service and a relaxing ambiance, but the health and safety of our community, clients, and I are a top priority. Even before COVID, I have always practiced sanitary state board regulations, however, we are taking extra precautions during this time by increasing the frequency of our cleanings. In addition, I have implemented several new safety protocols that will help to ensure no further interruptions to business. I understand that some of these protocols may be slightly uncomfortable and less glamorous than your previous visits, however, these are the standards that we must maintain to safely provide spa and beauty services to all of our guests.

What are we doing:

  • Our location is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis.

  • All door handles, countertops, chairs and treatment tables will be wiped down constantly throughout the day and between each client with hospital grade disinfectant.

  • We have upgraded to touchless soap and hand sanitizer dispensers in our restrooms.

  • The esthetician will be wearing a mask and/or face shield and will thoroughly wash their hands and use hand sanitizer.

  • Product bottles and containers used during treatments will be wiped down after each service with hospital grade disinfectant.

  • Paperwork is now completed using online forms. No more paper or pens!

  • Touch-less check out is available.

  • Offering virtual service options!

  • Additional time is included between appointments to sanitize service areas.

  • Your esthetician will not come to work if they experience fever or any symptoms. With this being said, we apologize if we need to cancel your appointment last minute.

What are our new safety protocols + appointment guidelines?

  • A wellness check will be performed upon each visit where we will take your temperature at the door with a no-contact thermometer.

  • A COVID-19 Screening + Consent Form will be required for you to sign prior to each scheduled appointment.

  • If you are sick, feel sick, or show signs of the flu or any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been around anyone who has been ill or shown signs of illness, you must say home and will not be able to reschedule next appointment for the next 14 days at minimum. 

  • You must enter the facility wearing a facial mask that covers your nose and mouth.  The mask is expected to stay on for the full duration of your visit. You will be instructed when your mask can be removed during your facial service.

  • Limit the number of belongings that you bring in, only bring the essentials.

  • Only (1) guest is allowed to come with you to your appointment. Children are NOT recommended to come due to safety concerns.

  • Please do not show up more than 5 minutes early for your appointment. 

  • Please, no gloves. Upon walking into the facility, we will ask you to wash and sanitize your hands in the restroom.

  • You must over your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, if you don’t have a tissue, sneeze or cough into your sleeve or arm.

With so many unknowns, the only thing I can rely on is a reactionary response to what’s going on around us and follow the CDC closely. At this time, Miona Naturals: Esthetics + Spa continues to take measures daily to reduce the chance of transmission within the spa. We cannot be held liable for exposure to the COVID-19 virus caused by misinformation provided by clients. If you have traveled, knowingly been exposed to, or have any of the above symptoms (like a fever, cough, or shortness of breath), please self-quarantine for 14-days prior to scheduling or cancel and reschedule your existing appointment. We are waiving all last minute cancellations due to sickness for the time being (no shows will still be charged). For the safety, health and welfare of my family, clients and myself, I trust that when you arrive for your appointment, that you have read my updated COVID policies. I have the right to refuse service to any client.
